Capt. Louis J DeFusco is a licensed captain with lifelong experience fishing Narragansett Bay and offshore the coast of Rhode Island. 
Louis was raised on the waters of Rhode Island as the son of a licensed captain with a passion for boating. Fishing was more than a hobby and early on he was entering tournaments catching prize winning fish. Louis has taken 1st place in many fishing tournaments around the area and placed 1st consecutively for four years at the Star Island Shark Tournament landing prize winning sharks including a 236 lb thresher, a 471 lb thresher, a 310 lb thresher and a 280 lb thresher.
Louis has traveled and fished many sport fishing destinations such as Costa Rica, Puerto Vallarta, Bermuda and Isla Mujeres. He lived in Dominical Costa Rica for two years where he ran a fishing charter business, catching 100s of Pacific Sails, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin up to 700 lbs, huge Dorado up to 70 lbs and many Wahoo. Louis also captained a fishing boat providing fishing charters while working for a charter company in St. Thomas.
Capt. Louis J DeFusco worked aboard the "ET" an 80 foot Merrit sportfisher cruising from Cape Cod to Florida spending the majority of his time fishing for Bluefin. Louis now operates a fishing charter business on his own sportfishing boat named "Hot Reels" out of Point Judith RI.
